How We Verify Codes

Last reviewed:

FreshCodes confirms Roblox codes by cross-checking them across multiple community sources and re-checking daily. We are upfront about our method: codes here are source-checked, not staff-tested — we do not personally redeem every code in-game, and we never touch Robux. Here is exactly how it works.

1. Multi-source cross-check

For every game we track the major code sources — established guide sites and each game's community wiki. When a code appears as active on several independent sources, we label it "Confirmed by N sources." The more independent sources agree, the higher the badge (4+ sources, 3 sources, 2 sources). If even one source reports a code as expired, it drops out of the active list.

2. Daily freshness checks

Code lists go stale fast. We re-check our sources daily and stamp every page with a "Last updated" time, shown in your own local timezone. A code that no source has listed as active in a long time fades out of the working list.

3. Why we say "source-checked, not staff-tested"

Honesty. Personally redeeming every code across 90+ games, every day, is not realistic — and claiming we did would be dishonest. Instead we show you how many independent sources confirm each code and when we last checked, so you can judge for yourself. That is a different (and more transparent) thing than "we tested this."

4. Expired codes stay visible

When a code stops working we move it to an Expired list rather than quietly deleting it, so you can tell what no longer works instead of wondering. Expired lists are collapsed by default to keep the working codes front and center.

5. Milestone codes are flagged

Some games hand out one-time "milestone" codes (for example, a code tied to reaching a player count). These often expire the moment the milestone is hit. We flag and de-emphasize them so a long list of likely-dead milestone codes doesn't drown out the codes that actually still work.

6. We never touch Robux

We only deal in free in-game codes that you redeem inside the game. We never generate, trade, or ask for Robux. Any site promising "free Robux" is a scam — that is not us.
